Birds

Birds have featured in a few of my projects over the years. Some of them are perhaps looking a bit dated now!

These two are from my folk art phase.

This one is several years old, but I recently gave it a makeover with a scrap of lace and a tiny glass button, and I like it better now.

An applique bird. . .

. . . birds in cross stitch. . .

Once I even tried my hand at a painted bird.

My latest bird is a knitted one in lovely Baby Cashmerino.

What a fancy little tail your birdie has! Your birds are all lovely; I had no idea that you could knit a bird. lol I see this one is not blue like most of the rest. Are you branching out? Pardon the pun. 8-) I like your darling little knit hedgehog even better; he is absolutely adorable with his bristly little coat.

All the best,
Susan

I especially love the beaded tail. Will this be a Christmas ornament?
